JOHN WALLACE RADIO: THE 10TH AMENDMENT AND STATE SOVEREIGNTY ISSUES

AMERICAN POLITICS RADIO SHOW - SHOW REMINDER:

NEXT SHOW - (THIS FRIDAY) November 5th at 5:00PM EST

GUEST: RICK MONTES - NY 10TH AMENDMENT CENTER

TOPIC: 10th AMENDMENT - STATE SOVEREIGNTY - STATE NULLIFICATION

This week on American Politics, my Guest will be Mr. Rick Montes, of the New York Tenth Amendment Center. The Tenth Amendment reads as follows: "The powers not delegated to the United States by the Constitution, nor prohibited by it to the States, are reserved to the States respectively, or to the people." Rick will talk about the power of the 10th Amendment and what the states can do when the federal government oversteps their limited, enumerated powers and the discussion will include the power of State Nullification of federal laws and State Sovereignty issues.

Is the federal government becomming too large and too intrusive in our everyday lives? Are they passing laws and issuing regulations on subjects (like HealthCare and Education) that they have no authority in the U.S. Constitution to be involved in? Call in and let us know what you think!
